| Hi all I am currently responsible for setting up the Guild's chat. I have my own preconceptions about the best way to do this but before I do so I want to canvas your opinions. Although I like Skype I do not think its an effective way for 4 or more people to communicate at once consequently I am considering a range of other options in addition to skype includingo Ventrillo, Teamspeak and Mumble These programs can all be used for team and guild based chat. Personally of the progrsmd I prefer Vent but I was wondering if the guild preferred a different one. So below is a link to each and attached is a poll. I would be greatly appreciate if you could state which program you would prefer to use. http://www.ventrilo.com/http://www.teamspeak.co.uk/http://www.mumble.com/If there is a program I missed and that you think is better then any of the above say so. You can pick multiple options in the event you like 2 programs equally. | |

| Well I have not used any of them but I think teamspeak may be out of the running as it costs money and we are not, to my mind, that hardcore yet. In the future maybe but for now free is looking good. | |

| They all cost money but some are very cheap to run such as mumble which I will happily pay for myself. I am testing how effective it is currently by setting up the following mumble server:
Servername Mumble.com Trial server address kokochat.mumble.com Port 6954
I would appreciate if someone would agree to log on to check it works as expected.
